April 2017 Meeting: Kokedama Planters

At our April meeting we met at Pilcher Park and made Kokedama Planters! What is a Kokedama Planter, you ask? It literally translates from “koke” meaning moss and “dama” meaning ball. It is a form of Japanese garden art that is centuries old and tied into the practice of bonsai. This was a huge hit with members, and the folks at Pilcher Park were great! If you’d like to learn how to make your own Kokedama Planter, you can find out more here.
